MARION T. BARLOW

CLEAR LAKE – Marion T. Barlow, 73, rural Clear Lake, died Saturday (Aug. 15, 1987) at a Mason City hospital.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church, 112 N. Fourth St., Clear Lake, with the Rev. Keith Tomlinson officiating. Burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery.

She was born March 13, 1914, in Clear Lake to Alex and Anna (Kotz) Spilman.

On Jan. 7, 1935, she married Vern Barlow at Mason City.

Mrs. Barlow worked for Deckers in Mason City for 25 years, retiring in 1975.

She was an active member of the Zion Lutheran, a member of the church circle, altar guild, and the Sing and Sew Club.

Survivors include her husband, Vern W.; four sons, the Rev. Vern J., Milltown, Wis.; Kaye L.., Tempe, Ariz.; Stephen Roy, Mason City, and Ronald, Clear Lake; a sister, Elsie Coe, Ventura; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
