RUBY ROWEN

CLEAR LAKE – Mrs. James (Ruby “Jeane”) Rowen, 61, of Clear Lake, died Wednesday (Nov. 28, 1979) in a Mason City hospital. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church here. The Rev. Randy Hanson will officiate, and burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday at Ward-Van Slyke Funeral Home in Clear Lake.

Mrs. Rowen owned and operated the J & J Cab Co. with her husband here for many years.

She is survived by her husband, James; three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Loma) Evenson, Hampton, Va.; Mrs. Darrell (Margaret) Hejlik, Clear Lake, and Mrs. Paul (Mary) Skoglund, Clear Lake; five sons, Charles McGrady, Clear Lake; Michael McGrady, Toronto, Canada; James McGrady, Emmons; James Rowen, Dallas, Texas, and Merlin Rowen, Redmond, Wash.; 21 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. C. C. (Ethel) Cook, Santana, Fla.; and three brothers, John Levisay, Princeton, Ill.; Lester Levisay, Rockford, Ill., and James Levisay, Clear Lake.
