VIVIAN MADSEN

CLEAR LAKE – Mrs. William (Vivian) Madsen, 82, of 1008 Fifth Ave. S. died Wednesday (Aug. 19, 1987) at a Mason City hospital.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church, 508 Second Ave. N. The Rev. James Louk will officiate with burial in Clear Lake Cemetery.

She was born Jan. 1, 1905 in Ogden, to Chris and Marie (Iverson) Eibey.

On June 20, 1924, she married William Madsen at Clear Lake.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church at Clear Lake, Sorosis Club and Clear Lake Garden Club. She was active in flower arranging and used to have a large flower garden. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Friday at ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. Fourth.

Survivors include one son, Donald of Clear Lake; one daughter, Mrs. Arnold (Marilyn) Schager, Ames; one sister, Mrs. Arthur Stoltz, Cass Lake, Minn.; four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and three step-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister and two brothers.

Transcriber’s Note – Vivian Madsen was born January 1, 1905, died August 19, 1987 and was buried in the Clear Lake Cemetery, Section G Row 7.
