LAURA B. FOSTER

Laura B. Foster, 80, 300 N. 9th St., Clear Lake, died Sunday, March 12 at a Mason City hospital.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 14, at Zion Lutheran Church, Pastor Murley A. Severtson officiating.

Interment in the Clear Lake Cemetery. Ward-Van Slyke Funeral Home in charge.

Laura B. Foster was born on Sept. 13, 1897 at Clear Lake, the daughter of Claus and Helen Hanson.

She graduated from the Clear Lake High School and later worked for the Clear Lake Telephone Company.

Foster was married to Harold Foster who preceded her in death in 1936. Surviving is her daughter Mrs. Larry (Betty) Secory, Clear Lake, a brother, Clarence Hanson, Costa Mesa, Ca., two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Smith, Mason City and Mrs. Dora Jakobsen, Clear Lake.

There are three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one brother and two sisters.

Mrs. Foster was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
