RITES HELD FOR FISTLER YOUTH
WILLIAM FISTLER SUCCUMBS AFTER EMERGENCY OPERATION

CLEAR LAKE, Oct 24 – Funeral services for William Fistler, 17, were held Friday at the Ward Funeral Home. The services were conducted by the Rev. J. R. Tumbleson, pastor of the Methodist Church. Mrs. A. H. Runcie and Mrs. D. E. Kenyon sang several selections.

The youth, who was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Fistler, died suddenly Tuesday after undergoing a major operation at a Mason City hospital. Burial was made in the Clear Lake cemetery. All of the brothers and sisters excepting a sister, Mrs. Harold Thomas, Mason City were at the funeral. Mrs. Thomas entered Mercy hospital, Mason City, Friday evening because of illness.

Out-of-town relatives who were in attendance included a sister, Mrs. Lee Bennett, Peoria, Ill., an aunt, Mrs. W. L. Butler, Aredale and an uncle Wesley Chancy, Manly.

He is survived by his parents, six brothers and four sisters.
