ETHEL TEMPLETON

CLEAR LAKE – Funeral services for Mrs. Ethel Templeton, 78, of 806 S. 14th St., Clear Lake, will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Open Bible Church, Clear Lake. She died Thursday (June 23, 1983) at a Clear Lake nursing home.

The Rev. John Vandenberg will officiate and burial will be in the Clear Lake Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake.

Mrs. Templeton was born in 1904 to William and Miley Bowers in Willow Springs, Mo. She married Benjamin A. Templeton in 1927. They moved to the Mason City area in 1941. She was a member of the Open Bible Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Duane (Ethel) Hahn, Clear Lake; three sons, Joseph and Lloyd Templeton, both of Clear Lake, and Orville Templeton Jr., Diamond Bar, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; one sister, Maude Henderson, Warsaw, Mo., and one brother, Herman Bowers, Warsaw, Mo.
