Obituary - Alice (Simpson) Smith
August 06, 1886 ~ July 13, 1962

Thornton - Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church here for Mrs. Edd (Alice) Smith, 75, who died Friday at a nursing home in Mason City. A prayer service will be held at 1:30 prior to the funeral at the church, the Rev. George Brighton conducting.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Elbert Doane, and a brother, James Simpson, and a sister, Mrs. Louie Jansen, all of Thornton.

Burial will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery, the Wartnaby-Grarup Funeral Home in charge.
