Obituary - Maude Ingebor (Ytzen) Hansen
January 23, 1894 ~ July 28, 1984

Mrs. Maude Hansen, 90, of Clear Lake, died Saturday (July 28, 1994) at a Clear Lake nursing home.

She was born Jan. 23, 1894 in Clinton to Chris and Maren (Christensen) Ytzen, and attended school in Clinton. In 1913, she moved with her parents to a farm near Burchinal.

She married Hans. J. Hansen in 1914 in Mason City and they farmed in the Thornton and Sheffield area. Mrs. Hansen moved to Clear Lake in 1949 and was a member of the Clear Lake Senior Citizens and Zion Lutheran Church, Clear Lake.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake. the Rev. Robert Rod officiated. Burial was in Pleasant View Cemetery, Thornton.

Mrs. Hansen is survived by two brothers, Julius Ytzen, Columbia, Tenn., and Harold Ytzen of Florida.

Organist for the service was Louise Folkmann. Pallbearers were Ray Humburg, Kenneth Humburg, Donald Humburg, Carl Humburg, Craig Humburg and Calvin Wendel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Chris and Carl Ytzen, and two sisters Catherine Humburg and Christine Brown.
