Obituary - Axel Hermansen

Axel Hermansen, a former resident of Mason City, died at his home in Chicago Feb. 12, according to word received here. He was engaged in a meat and grocery business in Mason City for many years.

Mr. Hermansen is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mayme Hermansen, and one son, Carl. A son, Wilford, preceded him in death two years ago in January. He is survived by a sister, in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Mr. Hermansen was a member of the Modern Woodmen and a member of the Masonic Order.
