Hans Christiansen, 77, whose home was at 708 South President avenue, died early Friday morning of heart disease at the farm home of Ben Rasumussen, four miles northwest of Alexander. The body was returned to the city and taken to the Randall funeral home.

Mr. Christiansen had been a resident of this city since 1882. He was born Dec. 30, 1851 in Denmark. After coming to this country he was married Dec. 2, 1882 to Miss Lena Thogerson in Mason City, who with two daughters, Mrs. G.G. Belshelm of this city, and Mrs. Josie Nelson of Chicago, survives.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Trinity Lutheran church with the Rev. O.L.N. Wigdahl, pastor, in charge. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery.
