SERVICES 2:30 P.M. AT ZION LUTHERAN CHURCH

CLEAR LAKE – Funeral services for Mrs. Peter Hansen, 73, who died at her home, 708 6th street, Saturday at 5:15 o’clock following a long period of failing health, will be held at the Zion Lutheran Church at 2:30 o’clock Tuesday afternoon. The Rev. Ruben Mostrom, pastor, will conduct the rites and burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery. Williams Funeral Home is in charge.

Karen Johnson was born at Norre, Laaland, Denmark, Nov. 11, 1869, the daughter of Andrew and Dorothea Johnson. She grew to womanhood in Denmark, coming to America in 1890. March 25, 1891, she was married to Peter C. Hansen of Clear Lake.

Mr. and Mrs. Hansen lived on a farm 3 miles southeast of Clear Lake until 1917 when they moved to town. Mr. Hansen died in 1927.

Mrs. Hansen is survived by 4 children, Sophus Peter Hansen, Arnot Robert Hansenand Mrs. Carl Bruchner, Clear Lake, and Mrs. Fred Hollatz, Jr., Los Angeles, Cal., and 5 grandchildren. Mrs. Hollatz will be unable to attend the funeral.

Besides her husband Mrs. Hansen was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters and a brother.

She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and took an active part in the Ladies Aid and other departments as long as her health would permit.
