SHARON ANN LESSOR

Sharon Ann Lessor, 61, of 210 West 10th Ave., Clear Lake, died Monday, July 27, 2009, at her home.

A memorial graveside service was held at 1 p.m., Friday, July 31, at Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City with the Rev. Kenneth B. Gehling officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Sharon A. Lessor Memorial in care of Sue Lukes, 17 21st S.E., Mason City, Iowa, 50401.

Sharon Ann Lessor was born on Feb. 18, 1948, in Lady Smith, Wis., the daughter of Archie and Marie (Holman) Lessor.

Sharon attended Mason City Public Schools. She continued her education through the North Iowa Vocational Center; where she worked for several years. She later moved to Garner, Iowa and worked at Duncan Heights Vocational Rehab. While working there she met her special friend, John. Sharon had most recently been working for Opportunity Village in Clear Lake.

Sharon loved bowling, collecting horses and old country albums. She really enjoyed watching Minnesota Twins Baseball. Her greatest love was spending time with her family and friends, especially her nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all.

Sharon is survived by her siblings, Jerry (Cathy) Lessor, Mason City, Carol (Jody) Esfeller, Dauphin Island, Ala., Sue (Gerry) Lukes, Mason City; special friend, John Nygard, Garner; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and other relatives and friends.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Marie Lessor.
