CLEAR LAKE — Steven L. Jenson, 47, of Clear Lake, passed away at his home on Saturday (July 1, 2006) after a lifetime struggle with a neurodegenerative disease.

A celebration of Steven’s life will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2006, at the Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. Fourth St., Clear Lake. There will be a private family inurnment at a later date.

Steven Lee Jenson was born on March 11, 1959, at Mason City, son of James and Bonnie (Johnson) Jenson. Steven graduated from Mason City High School. While in high school, Steven worked at Burger King, Mason City. After completing high school, Steven worked for Snyder Metals, Mason City, until he became disabled from his illness and unable to work. Steven enjoyed working on his computer and playing computer games.

Steven is survived by his mother, Bonnie Snow, of Clear Lake; a brother, James (Linda) Jenson, of Rockwell; a sister, Tammy Johnson, of Clear Lake; one nephew and four nieces, Christopher Jenson, Miranda Jenson, Jenna Yates, Samantha Yates, and Hanna Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his father and an infant brother.
