MRS. CHOATE, 86, DIES AT HOME
AGED RESIDENT SUCCUMBS TO ILLNESS; 5 CHILDREN SURVIVE

CLEAR LAKE – Mrs. O.G. Choate, 86, died Wednesday morning at her residence, 710 West Division Street, of the infirmities of old age. She had been in failing health for the past two years and confined to her bed four weeks.

Mrs. Choate had lived in Clear Lake since 1914 and Mr. Choate died here in 1918. Children surviving are Mrs. Cora Vedeler and Miss Kate Choate who lived with their mother, Mrs. Mary Flynn, Des Moines, W.W. Choate, North Third Street, and A.M. Choate, 409 North Fifth Street.

Funeral arrangements had not been made Wednesday noon. Ward’s Funeral Home will be in charge.

NOTE – Olive G. Choate was born December 3, 1850, died August 25, 1937 and was buried in the Clear Lake Cemetery Section B Row 5.
