Mrs. Ida May Lock, 82, Dies in Son's Home in Rock Valley

Services to Be Held at 1 p.m. Tueday at Local Funeral Chapel

Mrs. Lock was born in De Kalb county, Ill., March 28, 1866. She was married to Thomas Lock, Feb. 20, 1884, in Illinois, and moved to this vicinity in 1886. In 1901 the family moved to Mason City, where she had made her home until about a year ago, when she moved to Rock Valley to live with her son.

Surviving are her son, Dr. Arthur Lock, and 2 grandsons, Loran and Emlin Lock, all of Rock valley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lock, former chief of police in Mason City, and a son, Lester.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Patterson funeral home, with the Rev. George Sheils, associate pastor of the First Methodist curch, officiating. Burial will be at the Elmwood cemetery. The Patterson funeral home in charge.
