DONNA B. SILL

Mrs. Joy (Donna B.) Sill, 64, of 1008 9th Avenue N., Clear Lake, died Friday (Aug. 10, 1984) at her home.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday at Zion Lutheran Church in Clear Lake with the Rev. Keith Tomlinson, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Clear Lake Cemetery.

Mrs. Sill was born May 11, 1920 in Pine Island, Minn. to Melvin and Florence (Ahneman) Lewis. She attended schools in Pine Island and graduated from Chatfield, Minn. high school in 1937.

Following graduation she attended Minneapolis Business College in Minneapolis.

She married Joy Sill on Jan. 28, 1940 in Rochester, Minn., and they lived in Winona, Minn., until moving to Clear Lake in 1956.

Mrs. Sill was the assistant office manager at the Clear Lake Bakery for many years, retiring in 1980. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the Wa-Tan-Ye Club, both of Clear Lake.

She is survived by her husband, Joy, Clear Lake; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Jeanine Sill, Cleveland; three grandsons, Christopher, Brian and Scott Sill, Cleveland; two sisters, Mrs. Emmett (Jean) Rice, Fridley, Minn., and Mrs. Gilman (Marilyn) Johnson, Zumbro Falls, Minn.; and two brothers, Carleton Lewis, Manitowoc, Wis., and Henry Lewis, Hinckley, Minn.

Mrs. Sill was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Timothy.

Organist at the service was Louise Folkmann and soloist was Marilyn Sadler. Pallbearers were W.J. Green, Gordon Sunner, William McGowan, Arthur Merwin, Lance Johnson, and Virgil Anderson.

NOTE – Donna B. Sill was born May 11, 1920, died August 10, 1984 and was buried in the Clear Lake Cemetery Section G Row 3.
