Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, for Mrs. Leslie (Ethel E.) Sheldon, 84, of 1209 10th Ave. N., Clear Lake, who died Wednesday (Oct. 24, 1984) at home.

The Rev. Kenneth Ubbelohde of the First Congregational Church, Clear Lake, officiated. Burial was in the Clear Lake Cemetery.

Mrs. Sheldon was born July 25, 1900 in Estherville to Arthur and Ida (Robb) Brown. She attended Estherville High School and Married Leslie Sheldon on Dec. 26, 1920 in Estherville. She moved from Estherville to Clear Lake in 1975.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Bill (Betty) Koop, Clear Lake; three sons, Wayne, Chariton; Vernon, Loveland, Colo., and Robert, Clear Lake; 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren and one brother, George Brown, Issaquah, Wash.

Honorary pallbearers were Wayne Koop, William Crow, and Gene Sheldon. Pallbearers were Curtis Keeney, Steven Sheldon, David Sheldon, Francis Klein and Don Sponheim.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother, Morris Brown.

NOTE - Ethel E. Sheldon was born July 25, 1900, died October 24, 1984 and was buried in the Clear Lake Cemetery Section G Row 1.
