VAN HORN RITES HELD AT VENTURA CHURCH

CLEAR LAKE – Funeral services for Rollo Van Horn, 64, who died at the Charles Kaster home, Ventura Heights, Monday following a long illness, were held at the United Brethren church in Ventura Wednesday afternoon.

The Rev. P. J. Griggs conducted the rites and burial was in Clear Lake cemetery. Williams Funeral home made the arrangements. Pallbearers were Knut Olson, Dan Spillman, Walter Skene, Walter Smith, Lloyd Lau, and Ed Hocum.

Mr. Van Horn was born Nov. 30, 1878, near Sharon, Wis., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Chandler Van Horn. When a small child he came with his parents to the vicinity of Clear Lake where he spent his life upon the farm. He was unmarried.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Chester, William and Clarence. Surviving are three sisters Mrs. Tom Barlow and Mrs. James Barlow,

NOTE – Mr. Van Horn died September 21, 1942.
