GOLDEN E. YEAGER 1904 – 1986
Golden E. Yeager, 82, Las Vegas, Nev., formerly of Clear Lake, died Wednesday (April 2, 1986) at Las Vegas.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Monday at Clear Lake United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bernard Olson officiating. Burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3 this afternoon at Ward-Van Slyke Funeral Home here.
Born July 1, 1904, at Indianapolis, her parents were Cecil and Golden Aban (Patterson) Pickard.
She married Elton LaVerne (Jack) Yeager on April 28, 1923 in Anderson, Ind. In 1939, the couple moved to Clear Lake. She lived here until 1979 when she moved to Las Vegas to live with her son.
She played piano in Clear Lake and operated a youth center. She was a member of the Clear Lake United Methodist Church, a church circle, and was a Welcome Wagon hostess.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Henry (Marcella) Wilson, Falls Church, Va.; a son, Allen, Las Vegas; a brother, Earnest Pickard, Pottstown, Pa.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
