DEATH OF MRS. M. T. JUHL - JANUARY 8, 1893 – APRIL 11, 1913
With the unfolding of a newer and brighter life, nature with a smile that is a harbinger of the unfolding and expansion of the joys and sweetness of renewed vigor and vitality, the spirit of a young life falls into decay in the early morning of womanhood. On April 11 at the quiet hour of two o’clock in the morning the spirit of the life of Lottie Esther Moorehead Juhl fled to its maker and eternal home.
She was born Jan. 8, 1893, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. E. Moorehead of Mt. Vernon. On June 1st, 1910, she was united in marriage to M. T. Juhl. Two children were born to this union, a little boy 2 years old and a small baby 2 days old. The funeral services were held at Burchinal Sunday, the pastor of the M. E. church officiating.
The flower offerings were many and beautiful, including remembrances from friends in Illinois. At one o’clock she was laid to rest in the Mt. Vernon cemetery.
The little babe will be cared for by his grandmother, Mrs. Moorehead, and a sister of Mr. Juhl will provide a home for the little boy.
