GRAVESIDE SERVICES HELD FOR WARD CHILD

WALLY JOE WARD - APRIL 4, 1946

CLEAR LAKE – Graveside services were held in Mt. Vernon cemetery Saturday afternoon for Wally Joe Ward, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Ward. The baby was born Thursday at a Mason City hospital and lived about 12 hours.

The Rev. Warner M. Hubbard, pastor of the Methodist church conducted the service. Ward’s funeral home made the arrangements.

Besides his parents Wally Joe is survived by a brother, Gary Lloyd, 6; 2 half-sisters, Phyllis and Norma, and other more distant relatives.

Attending the services were Mr., and Mrs. Ed Ward, Ellsworth, Mr. and Mrs. William Cessford, Alden and several from Mason City.
