MILFORD -- Genevieve B. Larson, 91, of Milford, formerly of Clear Lake, died Wednesday (Jan. 1, 1997) at the Milford Nursing Center.

Graveside services for Mrs. Larson will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Clear Lake Cemetery, Clear Lake, with the Rev. Merlin Ackerson officiating. Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at the Turner Funeral Home, Milford, with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m.

Gen, the daughter of George and Bertha (Charlestrom) Klipping, was born May 11, 1905, in Waterloo. In her early years, she worked as a telephone operator in Forest City. Genevieve was a member of the Clear Lake United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one son, Harvey and his wife, Ernestine, of Milford; three grandsons, Brad and his wife, Marsha, of Eagle Grove; Craig and wife, Sally, of Milford; and Jeff and his wife, Terri, of Milford; two granddaughters, Heidi Larson, Minneapolis, Minn., and Darla Thunstrom and her husband, Randy, of Minneapolis, Minn.; five great-grandsons, John, Mark, Chad, Jerry and Nicholas; three great-granddaughters, Angela, Brittney and Bethany; two step-great-granddaughters, Jacque and Jennifer; and one sister, Evelyn Klipping, Waterloo.

Mrs. Larson was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, in 1987; parents; two sisters; two brothers; and one great-grandson.
