Larry C. LaGue Jr., 38, of 505 West L. St., Forest City, Iowa, died Monday, July
9, 2001 at his home. Funeral services were held Friday, July 13, at the
Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, with the Rev. Dennis Ganz
officiating. Interment was in the Clear Lake Cemetery. The family suggests
memorials to Larry C. LaGue Jr. Memorial fund.

Larry was born Feb. 25, 1963 in Mason City, Iowa the son of Larry and Diane
(Sorensen) LaGue. He graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1981 and from
NIsACC in 1983. After graduating he worked in Colorado, Wisconsin, Missouri and
then moved back to the North Iowa area in 1996. He worked at Winnebago and then
at Forest City Foods.

Larry enjoyed working with the public, camping, listening to 50¹s & 60¹s music,
was a big Buddy Holly Fan, biking, photography and going to the YMCA in Forest
City. He was involved with A.A. groups in the Forest City area.

Larry is survived by his parents Larry and Diane LaGue, Clear Lake; a brother,
Jeff LaGue and his wife, Domenie, Clear Lake; maternal grandmother, Helen
Sorensen, Alden, Iowa; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded
in death by his paternal grandparents, Esther Majors and P.C.(Shorty) LaGue,
and maternal grandfather Dale Sorensen.
