Marian Donna Luker, 71, 1104 5th Ave S., Clear Lake, died Sunday, Aug. 23,
2009 at Muse-Norris Hospice of North Iowa Inpatient Unit, Mason City, Iowa.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Aug. 28, at Zion
Lutheran Church, 112 N. 4th St., Clear Lake, with Pastor Derik Yarian
officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, Aug. 27, from 4-7 p.m. at Ward-Van
Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. 4th St., Clear Lake. Interment will be at the
Clear Lake Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Marian Luker Memorial Fund.

Marian was born May 9, 1938 in Mason City, the daughter of Eli and Gladys
(Bowers) Mastre. She graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1956. Marian
married the late Larry Luker April 13, 1958 in Fertile Lutheran Church. She
loved volunteering at the Village Store, quilting with her friends and family,
eating out with her Wednesday night group, enjoying the backyard that Larry
created, mowing the storage units and Clear Creek Nature Trail, having coffee
with her friends, gambling at Diamond Jo, and spending time with her children,
grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marian was a member of Zion Lutheran
Church.

Marian is survived by her four children, Jill Nonnweiler and her husband,
Dan, Mason City, Jody Satern and her husband, Gene, League City, Texas, Joyce
Wagner and her husband, Bob, Ventura, and Todd Luker and his wife, Lisa, Clear
Lake; her brother, Keith Mastre and his wife, Susan, Clear Lake; her sister,
Joann Frazier, Ames, Iowa; nine grandchildren, Jeff Nonnweiler and his wife,
Tiffany, Nora Springs, Iowa, Kaley Little and her husband, Scott, Iowa Falls,
Iowa, Jacob Nonnweiler, Mason City, Iowa, Jonathan Satern and his wife,
Argelia, League City, Texas, Lindsey McGuire and her husband, Matthew, Little
Elm, Texas, Robert Wagner, Ventura, Ryan Wagner, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Hadley and
Henry Luker, Clear Lake; three great-grandchildren, Hudson McGuire, Little Elm,
Texas, Izzie Nonnweiler, Nora Springs, and Ryan Satern, League City.

Marian was preceded in death by her husband, Larry, and her parents, Eli
and Gladys Mastre.
