Tammy Aileen (Lord) Barron, 27, died Wednesday, June 10, 1998 of pancreatic
cancer.

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 13 at First Evangelical Free Church,
Ames, Iowa, with the Rev. David Staff officiating. Burial will be held at
Clear Lake Cemetery, Clear Lake.

Memorials may be directed to the Aileen (Tammy) Barron Memorial Fund, 1535
Grand Ave., Ames.

Tammy was born Mary 14, 1971 in Olean, N.Y., the daughter of Richard M. and
Doyce (Sadler) Lord.

Tammy was a Mary Kay consultant and an elementary school teacher. She married
William Barron on July 25, 1992, in Clear Lake. She lived in the Garner/Clear
Lake area for nine years.

She was active in Campus Crusade for Christ in college and continued studies
in church after graduation from Iowa State University in 1994. She lived in
Ames for nine years.

Tammy enjoyed spending time at home with her two-year-old son, Josiah, and
being a homemaker. She also was involved in mission work overseas. Her
favorite pastime was being a friend.

She is survived by her parents who live in Burnsville, Minn.; her husband,
William; and one son, Josiah, of Ames; one brother, Richard Keith Lord and his
family, of Perry, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Christopher Lord, in 1987.
