Willard Arthur Scott, 84, of 4338 Wellington Hills Lane, Snellville, Ga.,
formerly Clear Lake, Iowa died Wed. Aug. 22, 2001 at the Embracing Hospice Unit,
Snellville, Ga. Services were held Saturday, August 25, at the Ward-Van Slyke
Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, Iowa with Bruce Collins officiating. Interment was
in the Clear Lake Cemetery. Family suggest memorials to Willard Arthur Scott
Memorial Fund.

Willard was born Aug. 17, 1917 in Cerro Gordo County, Iowa the son of
Hans and Fronia (Fuller) Scott. He was united in marriage to Yvonne Epple on
Nov. 28, 1947 in Austin, Minn. Willard worked for the City of Clear Lake for
many years.

Willard is survived by his daughter, Lorraine Simmer, Snellville, Ga.; three
grandchildren, Derek Simmer and his wife Angele, Sean Simmer and
Christopher Simmer; one great-granddaughter, Jordyn Simmer; three sisters, Leona
Wilkinson, Evelyn Skjeie and Irene Kelly; and two brothers, Harold Scott and
Raymond Scott.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Yvonne; one granddaughter,
Grace Simmer; one brother, Eldo; and one sister, Esther.
