Mrs. Dorsie (Norma G.) Lugar, 60, of 1514 Main Ave., Clear Lake, died Tuesday (Feb. 14, 1984) at home.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church, Clear Lake, with Dr. Lyle Lieder officiating. Burial was in Mount Vernon Township Cemetery, rural Clear Lake.

The family requests memorials be given to the Norma G. Lugar Memorial Fund.

Honorary pallbearers for the service were Tom Petersen, Jim Wheeler, Ron Wheeler, Chris Ouverson, Dan Wheeler, and Justin Lugar.

Pallbearers were Harold Graham, Lynn Christianson, Pat Ward, Craig Rule, Nels Larson, and Jay Kramer.

Mrs. Lugar was born Nav. 12, 1923 in Clear Lake to James and Grace (Normandin) Ward. She attended school in Clear Lake and married Doesie Lugar on Feb. 16, 1941 in Clear Lake. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Clear Lake, and the Diabetes Association of Cerro Gordo County. She was also an active member of the Democratic County Committee and United Methodist Women.

Survivors include her husband, Dorsie; two daughters, Marilea Wheeler and Mrs. Dennis (Sara) Ouverson, both of Clear Lake; two sons, Givens, Clear Lake, and James, Las Vegas, Nev.; nine grandchildren and one stepbrother, Gary Ward, Winnfield, La.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Oral Ward, and one sister, Phyllis Graham.
