Fayne Marie Huntley, 89, of 12201 Lark Ave., died Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at the
I.O.O.F. Home in Mason City, Iowa. Funeral service were held Monday, June 6, at
Ward Van Slyke Colonial Chapel,Clear Lake, with Chaplain Edward Bard officiating.
Burial was in the Clear Lake Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of
North Iowa.

Fayne Marie Huntley was born Dec. 26, 1915, in Clear Lake, the daughter of
Daniel and Etta (Frohling) Patton. Fayne attended country school in Clear Lake.
She and her family farmed in the Clear Lake area. She was united in marriage to
Laurice Huntley on March 25,1934. To this union four children were born. Together
they farmed for several years south of Clear Lake. She worked at the Cottage
Cleaners and retired from North Iowa Community Action in April of 1991.

Fayne loved spending time with her family, and cooking them dinner every Sunday.
She enjoyed the outdoors, especially gardening. She was a member of the Zion
Lutheran Church in Clear Lake, Queen Rebekah Lodge in Mason City, and Owesew
Club in Burchinal.

She is survived by her children, Kenneth D. Huntley and his wife, Bettie, of
Clear Lake, Keith D. Huntley and his fiancée, Gloria, of Clear Lake, Ronald D.
Huntley, of Charles City, Iowa and Wayne D. Huntley and his wife, Marge, of
Rockwell, Iowa; a half-sister, Betty Gilbert, of Ottumwa, Iowa; 11
grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Etta Patton; husband,
Laurice Huntley; a brother, Wayne Patton; and an infant sister, Virginia
Patton.
