Doris P. "Dodie" Stuart, 87, died peacefully Thursday, Sept. 4, 2003 at her
home, 821 South Shore Dr., Clear Lake. Inurnment will be in the Clear Lake
Cemetery, Clear Lake at a later date. Family suggests any memorials be given to
the Doris P. Stuart memorial fund. As per her request, the body is to be
cremated and no services are to be held.

Doris was born Oct. 23, 1915 in Edison, Neb. the daughter of Harry and Bertha
(Daiss) Pickett. Doris married Robert C. Stuart and they owned and operated
Stuart Realty for many years. She continued to operate it after her husband's
death in 1963 until her retirement.

Doris was a loving mother and enjoyed being with her family.
She will be loved and missed by all those that survive her: a son James P.
Stuart, Clear Lake; seven grandchildren, Allison and Jimmy Stuart, Las Vegas,
Nev., Sean Dunbar, Columbus, Ohio, Holly Harris and her husband, David,
Germantown, Wis., Heather Shumaker and her husband, Sean, Loveland, Ohio, Billy
Larson, Long Beach, Calif. and Analyn Gapay and her husband, Sean, Burnsville,
Minn.; four great-grandchildren, Christopher, Casey and Corbin Shumaker and
Michael Gapay; one sister, Jean Moss, Overton, Neb. and several nieces and
nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert C. "Bob" Stuart; two
daughters, Suzanne (Stuart) Dunbar and Sharon (Stuart) Larson; an infant son,
William Stuart and eight brothers and sisters.
