Francisco "Frank" Ibarra, 70, of Clear Lake died Friday, Feb. 10, 2006 at the
Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City, Iowa. Funeral services were held
Tuesday, Feb. 14, at the Open Bible Church, Clear Lake, with the Rev. Will
Hunsaker officiating. Interment was at Clear Lake Cemetery. Military honors were
provided by the Clear Lake V.F.W. Memorials are suggested to the Open Bible
Church.

Francisco was born Nov. 16, 1935, the son of Francisco and Esperanza (Munoz)
Ibarra at Allende Coahuila, Mexico. He graduated from school in Mexico. He
studied law in Piedras Negras Coahuila. Francisco moved with his family to San
Antonio, Texas in 1953, then later moved to Clear Lake where he lived most of
his life. Francisco entered the U.S. Army in 1958. He served in Germany where
he played the trumpet in the Army band. Following his discharge from the Amy he
came back to Clear Lake and worked for Andrew's Pre-stressed Concrete and later
worked construction until his retirement. He enjoyed photography, music and
fishing. He was and remains a blessing to all who knew him. He was a member of
the Open Bible Church, Clear Lake.

Francisco is survived by his brothers and sisters, Rudy (Helen) Ibarra of Clear
Lake, Alice (Rufus) Vasquez of Mason City, Josephine (David) McDevitt of Clear
Lake, Joe (Emma) Ibarra of Clear Lake, and Mary (Don) Burgess of Scottsdale,
Az; nieces and nephews, Yolanda (John) Lichman, Steve Ibarra, Gloria (Michael)
Sveral, Michelle (Borden) Plunkett, Bob (Sheila) Vasquez, James (Kelly)
Vasquez, Hope Smith, Natalie (Chad) Van Horn, Joe Ibarra Jr, Estela (Brent)
Jones, Alex Ibarra, Crystina Burgess, Anthony (Heidi) Burgess, and numerous
great nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents.
