Elizabeth Pearl Thurtle died December 28, 2007, at the Oakwood Care Center, Clear Lake.
Private family graveside service wil be held at a later date in the Clear Lake Cemetery.
Elizabeth Hanley was born in Rockport, Mo., the daughter of James and Poca (Vanderpool)
Hanley. She was united in marriage to Philip W. Thurtle on July 4, 1948.
She is survived by her step-daughter and step-son, along with nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Kay Sutton;
and five brothers.
Ward Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, handled arrangements.
