Suzanne Stuart Dunbar, 48, of Loveland, Ohio, formerly of Clear Lake,
died Wednesday, Aug. 31, 1994, at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center Lutheran
Hospital, Houston, Texas.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 6, at the Ward-Van Slyke Colonial
Chapel, Clear Lake, with the Rev. Charles Williams officiating. Interment was
in the Clear Lake Cemetery.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Sept. 9 at the Presbyterian Church in
Loveland, Ohio.
The family suggests memorials be given to the American Heart Association.

Suzanne was born Jan. 1, 1946, in Mason City, Iowa, the daughter of Robert C.
Stuart and Doris P. Stuart. She graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1964
and attended Iowa State University where she met and married Lawrence W.
Dunbar Oct. 29, 1965. Together they had three children.

She was a devoted wife and mother who had a special place in her heart for her
grandchild. She was a positive, energetic and enthusiastic supporter of the
many community and school affairs.

She is survived by her husband Lawrence Dunbar, Loveland, Ohio; one son, Sean
Dunbar, Columbus, Ohio; two daughters, Heather Shumaker and her husband, Sean,
Evansville, Ind., and Holly Harris and her husband, Lt. David Harris, U.S.
Army, Germany; one grandson, Cristofer Shumaker, Evansville, Ind.; her mother,
Doris P. Stuart, Clear Lake; one brother, Jim and his wife, Brenda Stuart,
Clear Lake; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert C. Stuart; one sister, Sharon
Stuart Larson; and one infant brother, William Stuart.

Pallbearers were Sean Shumaker, Lt. David Harris, Haldon Larson, Robert
Niermeyer, Thomas Dunbar, Donald Dunbar.
