Maxine L. Major, 71, 302 2nd NE, died Tuesday (May 28 1985) at a
Mason City hospital.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery here. The
Rev. Robert L. Newberry of First Baptist Church. Mason City, will officiate.
Visitation will be after 8:30 a.m. Thursday at Hogan-Bremer Colonial Chapel,
126 3rd NE.

Miss Major was born March 16, 1914, in Hillsdale, Wyo., to William and Margaret
Major. She lived for three years in Arkansas and then moved to Mason City where
she had lived the rest of her life.

She worked as a housekeeper in various homes and attended a Baptist church here.

There are no survivors.
