Patricia Ann Ford, 77, of Ventura died Friday, March 23, 2007 at the Oakwood
Care Center in Clear Lake.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 27, at the Clear Lake Church of
Christ, with the Rev. Jim Allard and Steve Nicholson officiating. Burial was
in the Evergreen Cemetery in Britt, Iowa.

Memorials can be directed to the Patricia Ann Ford Memorial Fund.

Patricia Ann Ford was born on Jan. 13, 1930 in Whittemore, Iowa, the daughter
of Christian Harold and Bernice (Cunningham) Gard. She attended Ventura
schools and then began work for the Clear Lake Bakery where she worked for
over 20 years.
Patricia will always be remembered for looking out for others before herself.
Patricia taught Sunday school with her daughter, Peggy, which was a very proud
moment in her life. She was a grandma and an aunt to many. Throughout her life
she enjoyed cooking, feeding the birds, embroidery, church, fishing, driving
around the lake, and especially spending time with her family. She was a
member of the Clear Lake Church of Christ.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Barb (Gulsvig) Ford, of
Waterloo, Iowa, Peggy Ford, of Ventura, Ruth (William) Marshall of Boaz, Ala.;
a son, Charles William Ford II, of Ventura; grandchildren, Jessica Gulsvig, of
Waterloo, and James Acosta-Gulsvig of Jessup, Iowa; sisters, Mary Davison and
Sue Devore; brothers, Mike Gard and Jim Gard, along with many nieces, nephews,
other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Joey; brother, Charles; daughter,
Cinda; and her parents, Christian Harold and Bernice.

Ward Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, was in charge of arrangements.
