Jeffry Richard Beach, 23, of Clear Lake, died Sunday, July 10, 1994, in a car
accident in Polk County, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 14, at 11 a.m. at the St.
Patricks Catholic Church in Clear Lake with the Msgr. Joseph J. Slepicka
officiating. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Cemetery in Truman, Minn. Graveside
services are set for Thursday at 3:30 p.m.

Visitation will begin today (Wednesday), July 13, at the Ward-Van Slyke
Colonial Chapel, 101 N. 4th St., Clear Lake. A Knights of Columbus rosary will
be said at 6 p.m. Wednesday, with a scriptural wake service at 7 p.m.

Jeffry Richard Beach was born June 11, 1971 in Monticello, Minn., the son of
Richard and Sharon (Zehnder) Beach. He graduated from Newman High School in
1989 with the distinction of begin named salutatorian. While at Newman, he
especially enjoyed playing football for the Knights.

He earned a degree with honors in computer science from Iowa State University.
He had recently accepted a position with Eli Lilly Pharmaceutical Co. in
Indianapolis, Ind.

Jeff loved to ride his Harley motorcycle, canoe and go to the Boundary Waters
Canoe Area. He also enjoyed downhill skiing and fishing.

He was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church in Clear Lake.

He is survived by his parents, Richard and Sharon Beach, Clear Lake; a sister,
Joan Bettag and her husband, Eric, of Chicago, Ill.; three brothers, Jerome,
of Denver, Colo.; Jason and James, both of Clear Lake; and his maternal
grandmother, Christine Zehnder, Truman, Minn.
