ARLETTE (TINY) AUSTIN
Arlette (Tiny) Austin, 66, of 113 15th St. N., Clear Lake, died Tuesday, Aug.
23, 1994 at her home.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Major Erickson Funeral Homes
in Mason City, with the Rev. Murley Severtson, of Zion Lutheran Church,
officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to the Arlette (Tiny) Austin Memorial Fund.

Mrs. Austin was born Nov. 3, 1927, at Ossian, Iowa, the daughter of Theodore
Jermeland and Lena (nee) Knutson Jermeland.

Mrs. Austin worked as a nurses aid for Park Hospital, then North Iowa Medical
Center for 20 years. She and her husband lived in the mason City-Clear Lake area
most of their lives.

She was a loving wife, mother and friend who enjoyed crafts and celebrated her
48th wedding anniversary on Aug. 17.

Survivors include her husband, Donald E. Austin, of Clear Lake; two daughters,
Marilyn and her husband Richard Seward of Santee, Calif. and Linda and her
husband Denny Ell, of Mason City; one son, Donald Austin Jr. and his wife
Loretta Austin of Des Moines,Iowa; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild;
four brothers; four sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one sister.
