Ann Marie Harris, 86, of 17475 France St., Omaha, Neb., formerly of Clear
Lake, died Thursday, April 1, 2004 at her home. Funeral services were held
Tuesday, April 6, at Zion Lutheran Church, Clear Lake, with the Rev. Dean Hess
officiating. Interment was in Clear Lake Cemetery. Family suggests Memorials
to Opportunity Village.
Ann was born Sept. 8, 1917 in Howard County, Neb. the daughter of Clyde and
Johanna (Petersen) Jacobsen.
She married Dwayne L. Harris in Omaha, Neb.
Ann started her own company as a consumer research analyst, which she operated
for fifteen years.
Ann is survived by her husband, Dwayne L. Harris, Omaha; a daughter, Kay A.
Wise and her husband, Dr. Kenneth, Omaha; her son, Ron Harris, Clear Lake;
four grandchildren, Kristl M. Finnes, Stillwater, Minn., Kenton G. Wise,
Omaha, Sherri and Cindy Knutson, both of Minneapolis, Minn.; three
great-grandchildren, Carlee Knutson, Kennedi Finnes and Kayleigh Finnes, and
two brothers, Dale Jacobsen, Firth, Neb. and Gene Jacobsen and his wife,
Marilyn, North Platt, Neb.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, James L. Harris; grandson,
James L. Harris Jr.; and three brothers, Glen, Byron and Calvin Jacobsen.
Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, was in charge or arrangements.
