BONNIE MAE MILLER
CLEAR LAKE - Bonnie Mae Miller, 67, of 813 6th Place N., Clear Lake, died Thursday (Dec. 18, 2003) at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa, Mason City. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church, 508 2nd Ave. N., Clear Lake, with the Rev. Jan Burnett officiating. Interment will be in the Clear Lake Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel.
Memorials may be given to the Bonnie Miller Memorial Fund. Bonnie was born Aug. 24, 1936, in Clear Lake, the daughter of Lloyd and Ina (Edwards) Miller. She graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1955 and attended LaJames College. Bonnie operated a beauty parlor in Bode from 1959-1962 and Bonnie’s Beauty Shop in Lake Mills from 1962-1991.
Bonnie enjoyed genealogy of her family. She loved her family and especially her nieces and nephew. She was a caregiver for her aunts and several other people. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Clear Lake. Bonnie is survived by two brothers, LaVern Miller and his wife, Pearl, of Clear Lake, and Dwayne Miller and his wife, Ardith, of Charles City; a sister, Dorothy Heimendinger and her husband, Orville, Osage; 11 nieces and a nephew; numerous great-nieces and nephews, and special aunt, Irene Miller, Clear Lake, and nephew, Kenneth Heimendinger, Orchard, Iowa. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Orville Miller. Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. 4th St., Clear Lake, (641) 357-2193.
