Lenore (Lenora) Gulbrandsen was born August 3, 1906 at rural Nora Springs, Floyd, Iowa to Lars Gulbrandsen and Anne Matilda Thompson, the youngest of three girls. Her two older sisters were: Mabel Alvina Cordelia and Ellen Mae.

Family found in the 1910 census living at Rock Grove, Floyd, Iowa: Lars Gulsbranssen 46, Anna M Gulsbranssen 34[24], Ellna May Gulsbranssen 8, Lenora Gulsbranssen 3[2].

Found in the 1920 census at Portland, Cerro Gordo, Iowa: Lars Gulbrandsen 56, Emma M Gulbrandsen 43, Ellen May Gulbrandsen 17, Lenore Gulbrandsen 13.

Found in the 1930, 1940 censuses at Mason City, Cerro Gordo, Iowa:
1930: Lars Gulbransen 66, Anna M Gulbransen 53, Lenore Gulbransen 22.

1940: Lars Gulbranson 76, Anna M Gulbranson 62, Lenore Gulbranson 33. Working as a teller in a bank.

Lenore married Joe Vincent Ludeman May 5, 1945 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Mason City, Cerro Gordo, Iowa. The couple lived at Mason City their entire married life.

Lenore died June 30, 1992 at Mason City, Cerro Gordo, Iowa and is buried at Memorial Gardens, Mason City, Cerro Gordo, Iowa.
