P. Johannessen Rites Are Held at Church

Clear Lake - Funeral services for Paul JOHANNESSEN, 42, who died suddenly Sunday afternoon at his home, 215 4th street, of a heart attack, were held at the Zion Lutheran church Wednesday afternoon. The Rev. Ruben MOSTROM, pastor, conducted the rites and burial was in Clear Lake cemetery. Ward's funeral home was in charge.

Albert HUBER, Eugene FUNNELL, Robert NICHOLS, Frank SWANSON, Oscar AMUNDSON and Powers ROWE were pallbearers. Mmes. Carl ASHLAND and A. E. FOLMANN, with Mrs. Irving R. MORGAN at the organ, sang "Lead, Kindly Light" and "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere."

Relatives were present from Radcliffe, Story City and Roland.

Relatives Present for Johannessen Funeral

Clear Lake - Among out-of-town relatives attending the funeral of Paul JOHANNESSEN at the Zion Lutheral church Wednesday were Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence AMUNDSON, Larry and Carol Ann, Alden; Mr. and Mrs. J. C. OLSON and Lester, Roland; Mr. and Mrs. R. J. NELSON, Maxwell; Mrs. Fred HOWEY, Estherville; Mr. and Mrs. Ole A. LUNNING and Nadine and Mrs. W. A. AUMNDSON, Radcliffe; Mr. and Mrs. P. M. PAULSON and Mr. and Mrs. Charles PAULSON, Mason City; Lloyd PAULSON, Hampton; and Mr. and Mrs. Volney PINKERTON, Denver, Iowa.

Memorial gifts were received for Christian missions, Jewish missions and the Soldiers Memorial fund. Gifts of money were also presented to the family.

Flowers were arranged by Mmes. L. E. JACOBSON, Eugene FUNNELL, R. J. NELSON and J. C. NORRIS.
