Mrs. Nielsen funeral set for Saturday

CLEAR LAKE - Mrs. Magnus NIELSEN, 78, 914 7th Ave. N., died Wednesday evening [September 26] at a Clear Lake rest home where she had been cared for since March. Funeral services will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Wilcox Funeral Home with Pastor Richard ELLINGSON officiating. Burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery.

Petra Margarethe PEDERSEN was born Oct. 10, 1883 in East Hurup, Denmark, the daughter of Hans and Wilhelmina PEDERSEN. She was married in 1907 in Denmark to Magnus NIELSEN who came to the United States in 1909, settling in Chicago. Mrs. NIELSEN and daughter, Maria, joined him in Chicago in April, 1911. They moved to Clear Lake in 1919.

Mrs. NIELSEN is survived by her husband, her daughter, Maria SANDERSON, who recently moved from Minneapolis to make her home in Clear Lake; and a niece, Mrs. Richard COX, Des Moines, who made her home with the NIELSENS for several years. Mrs. NIELSEN was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
