Burnsville, MN - Gladys Rose Renshaw, age 101, of Burnsville MN, formerly of Mason City, died peacefully on September 26, 2012. Graveside services were held Saturday, October 6, 2012, at Elmwood Cemetery, Mason City.

She was born on July 27, 1911, the oldest child of George and Verona Winchell. She married Cyrus Renshaw on August 30, 1936, at the Presbyterian Church in Lakota, IA. After their marriage, the couple lived in Lakota for two years where Gladys was the chief telephone operator.

She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Pleasant Ridge Club, Mason City and Pleasant Ridge Women's Club.

Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, husband Cyrus (Buster) in 2003, and her siblings, Gertrude, Dorothy, Verna, and George (Boy).

She is survived by her children, Nancy Merchant and Frank (Sharon) Renshaw; grandchildren Jennifer (Tom) Baxter, Melinda Renshaw (Suneel Tummala), Kristina (Douglas) Dreis, and Vanessa (Doug) Addison; great-grandchildren Fiona and Julia Baxter, Mason and Cooper Renshaw-Tummala, Zoe Dreis, and David and Benjamin Addison; and many nieces and nephews.
