Charles City – Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Grossmann-Hage Funeral Home for Mrs. Harry White, 85. She died Tuesday at the Cedar Valley Hospital. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Lillian White was born In Cerro Gordo County, November 20, 1878, the daughter of John and Sarah Lucinda (Reed) Deach.
On February 9, 1949, she was married to Harry White in Charles City. She was a charter member of the Rebekah Lodge of Nora Springs.
Survivors include her husband, Charles City; a son, Leonard Mathers, Portland, Oregon; a daughter Mrs. Jay (Dorothy) Demaray, rural Floyd; six grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and a sister; Mrs. Anna Burt, Sheridan, Wyoming. She was preceded in death by a son, two brothers; two sisters; and her first husband.

Lillian Ruth Deach was born November 20, 1878 in Cerro Gordo County, Iowa the daughter of John William Deach and Sarah Lucinda Reed.
She married Walter Scott Mathers, the son of William and Eliza Mathers. He died April 27, 1931. They had 3 children; Leonard, Wayne and Dorothy. Wayne died January 9, 1944.
She married Harry Dale White, the son of Mark White and Grace Luella Gish. He died in 1965.
