Mrs. Claus Randall, 78, succumbs

Mrs. Claus (Mary) RANDALL, 78, Manly, died early Friday at a Mason City hospital following a short illness.

Mrs. RANDALL was born June 28, 1883, at Plymouth, to John and Sara HART. She was married to Claus RANDALL, May 13, 1905. He died in 1957.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Leo (Genevieve) OSWALD, Hanlontown; three sons, Lowell, Kirkhoven, Minn., Whitney, Northwood, and Mac, Manly; seven grandchildren, and two sisters, Harriet FREDERICK, Manly, and Miss Beth HART, Maquoketa. She was preceded in death by her husband and a sister.

Mrs. RANDALL was a member of the Eastern Star, the VFW Auxiliary, the B.E.U.B. Church of Manly and the Legislative Ladies League of Iowa.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Major Memorial Chapel in Mason City. The Rev. Harold DELLIT, Manly, will officiate. Burial will be in the [Oakwood] cemetery at Plymouth.
