Funeral Services for Former Local Man to Be Saturday

John ENGLET, 80, one time Mason City resident, died Thursday morning in a Minneapolis hospital, according to word received here by his son, Clifford ENGLET, 708 Twelfth street northeast. He had been ill for two weeks and in poor health prior to that.

Funeral services will be held in the Major funeral home in Mason City Saturday at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. J. Lee LEWIS in charge. Burial will be made at Plymouth [Oakwood Cemetery].

Mrs. ENGLET had lived in Minneapolis for the last 30 years and had lived in Mason City prior to that. He was born in Hancock county March 16, 1861. He was married to Miss Clara Priscilla SWANGER in 1882. She preceded him in death.

In addition to Clifford ENGLET, Mr. ENGLET is survived by another son, Lyle ENGLET of Cedar Rapids, and three daughters, Mrs. Henry PILGRIM of Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. G. A. HARDEN of Raytown, Mo.; and Mrs. Royal DUNLAP of Webster City.

JOHN ENGLET RITES HELD HERE;
BURIAL AT PLYMOUTH CEMETERY

Funeral services for John ENGLET, 80, who died at Minneapolis Thursday morning, following an illness, were held Saturday afternoon in the chapel of the Major funeral home, with the Rev. J. Lee LEWIS, pastor of the First Baptist church, in charge.

Mrs. Roy SERVISON played obseinuial music and Miss Eleanor LEWIS sang "In The Swett Bye and Bye" and "The City Four-square."

Pallbearers were H. E. RUGG, P. P. STEIL, A. M. AVERY, F. A. KELUM, Henry KUPPINGER, Henry SIEWERTSEM. Burial was at the Plymouth [Oakwood] cemtery.
