PLYMOUTH - Ernest CARMANY is quite ill at his home, suffering a knee injury received while playing basketball at school.

DEATH NOTICES.

CARMANY, Ernest, 16, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. C. CARMANY, Plymouth, died at a local hospital at 5 o'clock Wednesday afternoon following an illness. Funeral arrangements had not been completed. The Randall funeral home in charge.

Ernest Carmany, 16, Plymouth, Succumbs

Ernest CARMONY, 16, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. C. CARMONY of Plymouth, died at a Mason City hospital about 5 o'clock Wednesday afternoon following a brief illness. The boy had been at the hospital since Sunday.

RITES HELD FOR PLYMOUTH BOY

Members of Basketball Team Pallbearers for Ernest Carmany.

PLYMOUTH - Funeral services for Ernest CARMANY, 16, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dewey CARMANY, who died at a Mason City hospital Wednesday afternoon, were held at the M.E. church at 2:30 Saturday afternoon, the Rev. T. C. COLLISTER officiating.

The choir consisted of Miss BORTNER, Miss CHRISTIANSON and Elwin KUGLER, members of the school faculty and C. R. LAMSON with Mrs. Edward BRAND accompanist.

The following members of the basketball team on which Ernest played guard, acted as pallbearers, James WOODHOUSE, Lloyd WOODHOUSE, Lester CHECHOCK, Page REYNOLDS, Dale HELM and Norman REZAB. Burial was in Oakwood cemetery.

Infection resulting from an injury caused the death of the boy.
