Mrs. Miller funeral set for Monday

Estella MILLER, 85, widow of Fred C. MILLER, died Thurday afternoon in a Mason City nursing home. She had lived in Mason City many years and made her home at 104 8th SW.

Mrs. MILLER was born Dec. 22, 1878, in Decorah, daughter of John and Hanna (MANSFIELD) BIRDSALL. She was married to Fred C. MILLER April 21, 1889, at Ruthven.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. P. C. (Valeria) BLAISE, Mount Royal, Quebec, and Mrs. L. C. (Dorothy) KIRBY, Los Angeles, Calif.; two sons, Gordon B. MILLER, Brooklyn, Ind., and Donald M. MILLER, Route 4, Mason City; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; six brothers and two sisters. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one son.

The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the McAuley Chapel. The Rev. Leroy BAUMAN, associate pastor of the First Methodist Church, will officiate. Pallbearers selected are Roger MOON, Harold SCHNARR, Dennis PURVIANCE, Vern MILLER, Glen SHERMAN and Don BROWN. Mrs. J. E. STINEHART will be the organist.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation at the chapel will be from noon Saturday until the time of services.
