MRS. L. LIFE, 74, SUCCUMBS HERE

Services to Be Held Sunday Afternoon

Mrs. Luella LIFE, 74, died at a local hospital at 5:20 o'clock Friday afternoon, following a lingering illness. She had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Harry SONDERGAARD, 905 Carolina avenue northeast, for the past 7 1/2 years.

Mrs. LIFE was born Luella MIDDLETON, Nov. 27, 1868, at Greenfield, Ohio, the daughter of Arden and Caroline MIDDLETON. On Jan. 1, 1889, she was married to the Rev. John M. LIFE, who preceded her in death. She had resided here since March, 1935.

Surviving Mrs. LIFE are her daughter, Mrs. Harry SONDERGAARD, Mason City, and three sons, Floyd W. LIFE, Columbus, Ohio; Howard S. LIFE, Oskaloosa, Iowa; Carl C. LIFE, St. Louis, Mo.; and eight grandchildren, Mrs. Thomas H. McCRACKIN, Jr., Alexandria, Va.; Jeanne LIFE, Chicago; John, Marianne, Pat and Mike LIFE, Oskaloosa; and Willard and Wallace LIFE, Columbus, Ohio; and one great-grandchild, Hoiry McCRACKIN.

A brother, Harry MIDDLETON, Greenfield, Ohio, and three sisters, Mrs. C. C. MOXLEY, Greenfield, Ohio; Mrs. H. T. MIDDLETON, Fairfield, Ohio; and Mrs. Clarence PARKS, Roanoke, Va., also survive.

Funeral services will be held at the Meyer funeral home Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock, with Doctor Marvin B. KOBER, pastor of the First Methodist church, in charge. The body will be taken Sunday evening to Greenfield, Ohio, for burial Tuesday.
