John Joseph Bombella was born November 26, 1926 at Mason City, Cerro Gordo, IA.

John married Phyllis E. Badker December of 1947 at Chicago, Cook, Illinois. The couple had 3 children, a son and two daughters.

John served in the Navy from October 9, 1944 to May 1, 1946, fighting in World War II.

John Bombella died on October 5, 1997 at Mason City, Cerro Gordo, Iowa and is buried there.
