Funeral Arrangements for Local Landscape Artist Are Incomplete
Charles E. CROSS, 66, died at a local hospital at 8 o'clock Wednesday evening, following a lingering illness. He had been a resident of Mason City for the past 40 years, being engaged in landscaping.
Mr. CROSS was born Oct. 15, 1875, at Detroit, Kans. Surviving are three brothers, Joseph and William T. CROSS, Mason City, and George CROSS, Long Beach, Cal, and three sisters, Mrs. W. J. DALTON and Mrs. Mae SHAIN, Long Beach, Cal. and Mrs. James O'CONNOR, Chapman, Kans.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The body was taken to the Meyer funeral home. [Interment was made at Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery, Mason City, Iowa.]
